Medication Management

Medication can be an incredibly helpful tool—when used thoughtfully and with the right support. At Lumos, Jessica, our APRN-PMHNP, takes the time to get to know you, understand what you’re experiencing, and talk through your options. You’ll never be rushed or pressured into treatment you’re not comfortable with.

Jessica partners with your therapist so you receive care that works together, not in separate pieces.

What to Expect

Initial Medication Evaluation
Your first appointment includes a thorough mental health assessment, discussion of symptoms, review of past treatment, and development of a personalized plan. Our APRN-PMHNP team currently provides medication evaluation and management for clients aged 15 and up.

Ongoing Medication Management
Follow-up visits focus on monitoring progress, adjusting medications if needed, and ensuring your treatment remains safe and effective.

Collaborative Care
Our medication provider works closely with your therapist to ensure seamless, integrated treatment. Communication is coordinated (with your consent) so your care is consistent and aligned.

Medication Management Services

Our APRN-PMHNP provides medication services for clients needing support beyond therapy alone. Medication can be an important part of treatment for conditions such as:

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Trauma-related conditions

  • Bipolar disorder

  • Behavioral and impulse-control issues

  • Sleep concerns

  • Other mental health needs

Genetic Testing for Personalized Medication Care

At Lumos Mental Health Services, we recognize that every individual responds to medication differently. When appropriate, we offer genetic testing to help determine which psychiatric medications may be most effective for you. This simple, non-invasive test uses a quick cheek swab that is sent to a trusted outside laboratory. Your results provide valuable insights that help guide and personalize your medication plan, improving the likelihood of finding the right treatment faster and with fewer side effects.
